Light Vs Darkness

Woooo... Josel, u know what? I had the same passage this morning too! But what strikes me most is the verses before...

"God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth."

1 John 1:5b - 6

It makes me ponder... all the while i see life in front of me a piece of darkness. I know my destination but i do not know the path i'm going. i couldn't see the paths that are leading to the destination. There was once that God promised me that He'll light my every step... meaning though in front of me is darkness, i do not need to be afraid cos His light will lead me to the destination.

But i began to ponder about this verse... In Him there is NO Darkness. I was confused initially. But as i meditate, i realize that if i fellowship with Him moment by moment, hearing His heartbeat, i'll not see darkness cos i'll know what He would want me to do... I'll know which path He wants me to go. So when i realize i'm in darkness, i'll know that i've sin... i've not been close to Him. Thank God for His words! =)
